Jesus Christ (MESSIAH)

HE IS EL-SHADDAI, JEHOVAH, KING OF THE JEWS, OUR REDEEMER . Rev 1:8, John 1:49

All things were given over to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is if not the Father; and who is the Father, if not the Son, and he to whom the Son may desire to reveal [Him]. (Luke 10:22 KJ3)

Do Scholars and Doctors of Divinity and Pastors know who Jesus the Messiah (Christ) is?

"no one knows who the Son is?" Luke 10:22

How is a Christian to understand Jesus's statement when He says that no one knows who He is but the Father? Those who heard Him and believed in Him, as we do, must have known Him. He was teaching them, preaching to them. They physically saw Him.  Yet, Jesus made the declaration that no one knows who He is. Nowadays, the fascinating character of Jesus the Messiah (Christ), still eludes many who seek to find Him in History and grasp Him. As you read in Luke 10:22, Jesus can be found and grasped, however, He has to reveal Himself to you and if He chooses to grant you the favor. Those to whom He reveals Himself do find Him in the pages of the Bible. Because, there can be a lot of mischaracterization and misinformation and clouds trying to blind the minds of those who are allowed to see Jesus in the Bible,  I am just being a watchman as we read his responsibility in Ezekiel 33:7 because the kinds of declarations Jesus make do also require deeper consideration to understand the deeper insight in the doctrine therein asserted.

Ezekiel 33:7-9 (NIV)

[7] “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. [8] When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,' and you do not speak out to dissuade him from his ways, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. [9] But if you do warn the wicked man to turn from his ways and he does not do so, he will die for his sin, but you will have saved yourself.

Consider the other dimension in the declaration of Ezekiel 33: 7-9. Who does not die?  We all live and die. Ezekiel 33:8 must be speaking of a different kind of death. The same is true for Luke 10:22. They knew Jesus. They knew He was the son of a carpenter. Luke 10:22 must, just as Ezekiel 33:7-9, imply a different kind of knowledge of Jesus the Messiah which we must delve into.

No scientific discipline needed to prove anything in the Bible

During the parable ridden ministry of Jesus, the only resources He used to establish His ministry was the Scriptures or the Law and the Prophets and the Psalms. Jesus sought some impossible secrecy on His identity, His origin, trying to silence those He touched to reveal Who He is (Mark 7:36) and He also forbade even the fallen angels (Mark 1:24; Mark 3:11-12) to divulge who He is. It was not His time yet.

The Apostles preached Jesus and His Gospel constantly quoting only from the Scriptures. There were no external sources used. In our modern times, we turn to archaeological sources to find Jesus. That is not the manner in which Jesus can be grasped.   Jesus Himself declares that it is the Jewish Scriptures (the Old Testament) that testify of Him (John 5:39).

John 5:39 EMTV

(39)  You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about Me.

Therefore, the Scriptures remain the source by excellence to consult in researching and establishing Jesus, and debunking Jesus if we would see Him as a fraud.

For it is written: "As I live, says the LORD, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God."  (Romans 14:11 EMTV)

To show that Jesus is Jehovah God, I am following the same precedence of the Apostles , against the trending doctrinal propaganda of the religions that make Jesus an Angel. Nevertheless, no matter how well I could present Jesus as Jehovah God and discourse upon all His attributes of Jehovah, the limiting factor to accept Jesus as Jehovah is function of His own desire to reveal Himself to whomever He pleases (Luke 10:22). Notwithstanding the caveat, The ultimate inevitable confession from every tongue will be that Jesus is Jehovah God (Romans 14:11 quoting Isaiah 45:23).

and "every tongue should confess" that Jesus Christ is "Lord," to the glory of God the Father. Isa. 45:23  (Philippians 2:11 LITV)

What does it mean to confess that Jesus is Lord when we call Him Lord and is known as the Lord?

Who was Jesus before He became flesh?

Look at the caption of Luke 2:11 in the header of this web page. The grayed out words do not appear in the Greek manuscript. So, read the translation without the grayed out words. Then, ask yourself "Who is known as LORD or Lord in Heaven before the announcement in Luke 2:11?".

The beginning of the New Testament

We read that an engaged virgin Jewish young woman named, in Greek, Mariam (Mary) was chosen to be a surrogate mother for someone from above (Luke 1:25-27).  That heavenly being was to be unconventionally implanted in the womb of Mary (Luke 1:34-35). He was not going to be the product of a male sperm from Joseph and the egg of Mariam, as it is for John the Baptist.  We read that when he was to be born, his name was to be Jesus in the English language or Iesous in Greek (Luke 1:31).

Yet, when He was born, Angel of Jehovah did not announce to the shepherds that a child named Jesus was born, and He did not send them to go look for a child with such name Jesus. Rather, Angel of Jehovah told them, as translated into the English language in Luke 2:11, that "Saviour, who is Christ Lord was brought forth in city David" (not in the city of David).

So for our salvation, we call on the name of Jesus, we sing praises to Jesus and worship the Jesus. However, the majority of those of us who follow Jesus and, as such, call ourselves Christians, we have no clue who was the one born "Savior Lord Christ" but named Jesus.

Yet, who Jesus was and is, that is all revealed in the words that identify Jesus but hidden to many whether as a matter of fact or because we do not care to enlighten our understanding of the One we call Jesus, Redeemer, Savior, Christ, Lord. His mission is stated in John 3:16 (EMTV)

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

In Him God reaches out to commute the de facto death sentence verdict on the human race as a consequence for having obeyed Satan instead of Jesus, in the garden of Eden.

However, not any one us may naturally understand or know who Jesus was and is, because Jesus Himself says that He can be known only to the specific ones He reveals Himself to. To know what that means, I invite you to pick up your Bible and go for a ride into it to discover Jesus, because Jesus says that the Scriptures entrusted to the Jews which we call the Old Testament concern Him. In other words, yes, Jesus is a revelation but He is in all the pages of the Old Testament. To me it is a paradox that Jesus can be known by revelation but yet is found in the Old Testament. Nevertheless, we read that Jesus had to pinpoint to His disciples what was written about Him and most important of all, Jesus had to open their minds so they can understand. So, grasping Jesus is beyond reading the very words in the Scriptures where He is written about, beyond any intellect, beyond whatever Science or Archaeology et cetera.

What happens to those of us who fail to find Jesus in our search or does not believe that He is incarnated Jehovah God, the King, Savior, Redeemer of Israel and of the whole cosmos according to the promise to Abraham?

John 3:17-19 ASV

(17)  For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him.

(18)  He that believeth on him is not judged: he that believeth not hath been judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.

(19)  And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

Also, you may be a Christian but it is possible that you still do not believe in the name of Jesus as Jehovah, the King Savior Redeemer of Israel.

We read that it is a must to believe that Jesus is Jehovah [aka Lord], as stated in Philippians 2:11 which Apostle Paul quoted from the Scriptures (aka the Old Testament) in Isaiah 45:23.

Isaiah 45:20-23 KJ3

(20)  Gather yourselves and come; draw near together, fugitives of the nations; the ones who set up the wood of their carved image, and the ones who pray to a god who does not save; they know nothing.

(21)  Declare and bring near; yea, let them consult together. Who has heard this of old; who has told it from then? Is it not I, Jehovah? And there is not a god besides, except Me, a just God and a Savior; there is not one except Me.

(22)  Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is not one besides.

(23)  I have sworn by Myself, the Word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not turn back, that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

The purpose of this medium is to take the veil off Jesus and reveal Him to the ones He chooses to reveal Himself to, because many had come up with concepts of Jesus that are not supported by the Scriptures entrusted to the Jews aka the Old Testament nor by the New Testament.

Remember that no one has any skill or power to compel any mind to grasp Jesus but Jesus Himself. Therefore, get on your knees and ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you and understand Him, to understand the One who sent Him, to understand what it means that "every tongue should confess that Jesus is Lord" since everyone calls Him Lord anyway.

The website aims to witness that Jesus is Jehovah God and provides overwhelming evidence that those who can hear His voice will definitely welcome.

Let us delve into the Biblical ride in search for the hidden but revealed Jesus who spoke in parables.

Who is Jesus Messiah/Christ? an Angel or Jehovah God?

To many, the identity of Jesus remains a mystery even though to some of us Jesus is plainly revealed, as it is written in Luke 10:22. In His time in flesh, Jesus had every one in Jerusalem scratching their heads pondering on His true identity. He directly addressed the issue within the close entourage of His disciples:

Matt 16:13-17 (KJV)

13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

According to those verses, Jesus asked His disciples who people say that He is. Apparently, Jesus was not interested in the conflict of thoughts about His origin among the Israelite populace or the aliens or the doctors of the law. Judging by the answers given, He wanted to know what His immediate entourage, the disciples, think of Him beyond His humanity.

Peter was not a scholar or a doctor of the law but he managed to get the right answer. He answered the question saying that Jesus is the Messiah (Christ), the Son of God. We would think that Peter got it right  because he was the smartest of the disciples, but Jesus swiftly declared in verse 17 that Peter could not had possibly known the answer if The Father did not reveal it to Him. He also said that Peter was a blessed man to have been favored with such a revelation.

That is a totally new dangerous doctrine to digest at that time and still today in certain circles. The very son of Joseph and Mary is The Messiah (Christ). His compatriots saw Him in verse 14 as any other reincarnated Jewish Prophet but not as the Son of their God [Elohim] and neither as their God. Any man claiming to be God is a blasphemer. A crime punishable by death. Now, let us take the confession of Paul to the Highest level.

Nobody, when Jesus lived on earth, thought Jesus was an Angel but, today, we do.

Our modern generation of believers have drifted farther than the generation of Jesus Christ in formulating a view of who Jesus could have been before He was made flesh.

In Matthew 16, Jesus picked on the brains of those closest to Him. You read the range of thoughts in the verses. However, Jesus being an Angel was not one of the speculations about Him. Could Jesus have been any of the Angels we read about in the Law and the Prophets? Keep in mind that Jesus, as a Son [destined] to redeem our world, could not have been hidden from mankind, especially when He says that Abraham saw His day...

The Angels who openly minister to us as commissioned by Jehovah God is that they are just a few. We read of Angel (or Messenger) of Jehovah, Gabriel, Michael who is the chief Angel (Archangel), Lucifer (the Angel of light aka Satan). There is also the mention of Michael, the Prince. Let us look at their portfolio in the Bible.

Jesus Christ never uttered the name Jehovah during His ministry. He did, but only in quoting the Scriptures.

It is worth noting that Jesus does not refer to His Father as Jehovah, not even as a young boy (Luke 2:49).  From the perspective of the bulk of information about Jehovah God in the Torah and the Prophets, it is disturbing that the name Jehovah is nowhere to be found in the New Testament, because Jesus duplicates all of the attributes of Jehovah. The name Jehovah is not found because we would have to refer to Jesus as Jehovah. And most believers do not believe that. However, all those who do not believe that Jesus is Jehovah will be compelled to confess it (Philippians 2:11). To confess that Jesus is Lord does not make any sense because He is referred to as Lord. While one can deny that Jesus is Jehovah (as the Jehovah witnesses do), none of us can deny that He is Lord or the Lord because Lord is another title we use to refer to Jesus. When we understand that Lord is used for Jehovah in Greek version of the Torah and the Prophets and its translations into other languages, we realize the scope of Philippians 2:49 imposing the doctrine that Jesus is Jehovah.

Philippians 2:9-11 EMTV

(9)  Therefore God also has highly exalted Him, and has graciously given Him a name which is above every name,

(10)  that at the name of Jesus every knee may bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

(11)  and that every tongue may confess that Jesus Christ is Lord [Jehovah], to the glory of God the Father.

Only Jehovah is worshipped as we read Jesus is to be worshipped on earth and in heaven in verse 10 (Isaiah 45:23).

None of the writers of the New Testament rooted for Jehovah God but for Jesus and His God, the Father

The writers of the New Testament knew very well Jehovah God but none of them witnessed for Jehovah. They witnessed for Jesus who taught them about the Father.  To remedy the apparent dismissal of Jehovah God by Jesus and His followers, the Jehovah's Witness Congregation dedicate themselves to promote Jehovah as the Most High while they belittle Jesus Christ as "a spirit creature who had a special relationship with Jehovah".

Jesus, having claimed the Greek title 'the Alpha and the Omega' which is the same as 'the First and the Last' in the Scriptures, reveals Himself to have been, in flesh, Jehovah God, El-Shaddai, who died but now is alive, and will return again (Revelation 1:7 & 8). As it is written, the day will come when the evidence will compel everyone to confess that Jesus is Jehovah.

John 14:8-9 EMTV

(8)  Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us."

(9)  Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you for so long a time, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He that has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
